Dr. Kellye Phillips is a Director / Senior Litigation Consultant at Blueprint Trial Consulting. Dr. Phillips’ litigation consulting experience includes case theme and strategy development, change of venue surveys, community attitude surveys, witness preparation, jury selection, mock trial/focus group jury research, shadow juries, and post-trial interviews in a variety of case types, including antitrust, conspiracy, contracts, employment, energy, insurance, fraud, intellectual property, professional negligence, medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, wrongful death, and murder. Her social science background provides the basis of her expertise in applied statistics, attitude measurement, experimental design, scale construction, survey/questionnaire development, and expert testimony.
Prior to joining Blueprint, Kellye worked at another litigation consulting firm for over 20 years. Previously, Kellye also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University; California State University, Fullerton; and the University of California, Irvine where she taught various courses in legal and cognitive psychology, including Legal Psychology, Research Methods, Small Group Behavior, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, and Sensation and Perception.
Kellye is the author of several articles and conference presentations on jury decision-making, expert testimony, scientific evidence, eyewitness memory, scientific jury selection, elder abuse and neglect, and other topics related to psychology and the law.
Kellye attended Florida International University in Miami, Florida, where she earned her Ph.D. in Legal Psychology, with an emphasis in Cognitive and Experimental Psychology.
